Bill’s connection to literature began a birthday request as a young teenager for a book club subscription, followed later by an undergraduate degree, with departmental honors, in English literature, followed still later by (anticlimactic drumroll) 40-plus years in journalism and public relations with a short foray into speculative television scripts.
Although Bill teachs college part-time, retirement from full-time work allowed his return to those lit-focused roots - he’s been writing ever since.

Writing is Yuniang’s (they/them) favorite thing to do. They have been published in several literary journals and magazines, including established ones like Fourteen Hills and Sinister Wisdom, as well as respectable indie ones like beestung and The Bitchin’ Kitsch (forthcoming). They also read and edit for Wild Roof Journal and Fahmidian Journal.
Yuniang loves bugs, they do not care if it’s embarrassing. However, they particularly love stink bugs - sometimes, when the sun hits right, their exoskeleton looks like an iridescent rainbow on an oil spill, and it's gorgeous. They also love moths!

L. Lois arrived at poetry late in life, following rewarding dual careers as an unschooler and business administrator. She holds a board position with the League of Canadian Poets and is an active volunteer in the literary arts. Lois is an active participant in critique collectives/workshops and runs a twice-monthly generative writing gathering at her local community centre.
L. Lois climbed out of the urban rat-race and moved into a hermitage close to the ocean. She’s now 153 steps away from sandy beaches, endless seawall walks, and Pacific sunsets. Lois knows weird has a motto: less is more. Poetry agrees with her.

Zuri is the the founder and editor behind Juste Milieu Zine, an arts and literary print publication, and the author of two chapbooks. In both writing and editing, she’s drawn to work that challenges comfort zones and leaves a lasting impression.
Zuri is interested in fiction, nonfiction, and the different ways place and memory shape a story. Zuri keeps random little pieces of paper. Receipts, ticket stubs, notes, business cards, because she like objects that accidentally become records of a specific moment.
